GODLEWSKI, Wladyslaw, age 79, of Garfield, died on February 3, 2019. Born in Zelkow Pau Krakow, Poland, he lived there for 34 years moving to Newark and Princeton before settling in Garfield 20 years ago. Wladyslaw was a Doctor of Agriculture working with the University of Poland in Wroclaw, Poland for 10 years until he emigrated to the United States. He was a parishioner of St. Stanislaus Kostka RC Church, Garfield. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Maria (nee Tomczak), and a sister, Sofia Jarama. All Services will be privately held. In lieu of flowers the family is accepting donations for St. Stanislaus Kostka RC Church, Garfield.
