Obituary for Fannie Polizzotto (Hudspeth)

POLIZZOTTO, Fannie (nee Hudspeth), of Garfield, died on February 20, 2019. Born in Hamptonville, NC, she settled in Garfield 78 years ago. She was employed briefly by Curtiss Wright in Wood-Ridge and then went into business as a seamstress owning and operating Pete’s Tailors on Mac Arthur Avenue in Garfield for 70 years retiring in 2012. She is predeceased by her husband, Sylvester Joseph Polizzotto in 1984, and her siblings, Annie Cook, Mable Garris, Etta Wall, Hazel Hudspeth, Roy Hudspeth, Paul Hudspeth, Hugh Hudspeth, and Charles Hudspeth. She is survived by two loving sons, William J. Hudspeth, Jr. and wife Jodi and David Hudspeth and wife Jean, four cherished grandchildren, Ryan Elizabeth, Rachel, David, Jr. and wife Crystal, and Cheryl and husband Ted, four adored great-grandchildren, David, III, Colin, Michele, and Teddy, and three dear siblings, Jane Perkins, Shirley Brown, and William “Billy” Hudspeth.
