Obituary for Elizabeth Infantolino (Iachetta)

INFANTOLINO, Elizabeth (nee Iachetta), age 99, a long time resident of Garfield, died quietly with family at her bedside on February 23, 2019. She was a seamstress for 30 years working at various local dress shops. She also worked as a teacher's aide with the Garfield Board of Education for four years. She retired in 1972. Elizabeth was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Virgin Church, Garfield, New Jersey. Elizabeth is predeceased by her husband of 65 years, John J. in 2011, and her siblings, Grace Iachetta, Sadie Cirello, and Agnes Degliomini. She is survived by three loving sons, Dr. Edward Infantolino and his wife Mary, Dr. John A. Infantolino and his wife Hannah, and Dr. Anthony Infantolino and his wife Lynne. She is also survived by a brother and sister, Gasper Jachetta and Rose Sara Picchierri, nine cherished grandchildren, Mary Elizabeth, Edward Jr., Catherine Jane, John James, Andrew Patrick, Christine Anne, Lauren Marie, Rachel Helen, and Anthony Joseph "TJ", a step-granddaughter, Amanda and her husband Tom with their children, Sierra, Holden, and Vaughn, and many nieces and nephews. The funeral is Saturday, March 2, 2019, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 9 am followed by a 11 am mass which will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church, Garfield. Interment St. Nicholas Cemetery, Lodi. In lieu of flowers the family will be accepting Mass services in memory of Elizabeth.
