CASSIDY, Michael Charles, age 70, of Garfield, died on March 4, 2019. Born in Weehawken, he settled in Garfield many years ago. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Garfield, and a commercial pilot with Continental Airlines before retiring. He is survived by his wife, Eusebia “Eubie” Rodriguez-Cassidy, four step-children, Dr. Carlina Mejia and husband Hernan Velez, Tania Chavis and husband Ryan, Joel Rodriguez, and Jesse Rodriguez, and three grandchildren. He is predeceased by a sister. Visiting will be on Sunday, March 10, 2019 from 5 to 6:30 pm at Zion Lutheran Church, 111 Midland Avenue, Garfield, followed by a 6:30 pm Funeral Service. Everyone will meet at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown on Monday, March 11, 2019 at 10:30 am for his interment.
