John Joseph Hrabovsky, age 76, a resident of Newark, peacefully passed away on May 14, 2019 with his family at his side. John was born on July 6, 1942 in Passaic, NJ to the late John S. and Mary Hrabovsky. He was raised in Clifton, NJ. He spent many years in Garfield before settling in Newark in 2010. John leaves behind three children, Michael, Lori and her husband Carlos and Vinnie. He also leaves behind his grandson, Derek. John is survived by his brother, Michael and wife Lynn. He is predeceased by three sisters, June Della Porta, Lorraine Molter and Patricia Cangelosi. His memorial service will be handled by Aloia Funeral Home, 180 Harrison Avenue, Garfield, NJ on Saturday, May 25, 2019 from 6 to 8 pm. There will also be a memorial service on Sunday, June 23, 2019 at 11:35 am at Wolff Memorial Presbyterian Church, 106 Ann St., Newark.
