Catherine E. "Lovey" Obsuth

OBSUTH, Catherine E. “Lovey” (nee Garbarino), age 88, of Garfield, died on July 30, 2019. Born in Brooklyn, she was raised in Lyndhurst 19 years settling in Garfield 69 years ago. She was a quality control operator 30 years with Stull Engraving in Garfield retiring in 1992. Catherine is survived by her devoted daughter, Lori Obsuth-Andreano and fiancé Richard Bertinato, six cherished grandchildren, Kelly Andreano, Rachel and Andre Bazo, Sarah and Damien Lalicata, Mary Andreano and Jillian, John Andreano, and Daniel Andreano, three adored great-grandchildren, Holly, George, and Hunter, and a dear sister, Nancy Gacek. She is predeceased by her husband, Charles in 1987, and her parents, Vincent and Jennie Farina. Visiting Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral is Friday, August 2, 2019, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 9:30 am followed by a 10:30 am chapel service. Interment Calvary Cemetery, Paterson.
