Obituary for Salvatore Navilio

NAVILIO, Salvatore age 88, of Vineland, died on February 22, 2010. Born in Lodi, he lived there for 65 years before settling in Vineland 23 years ago. He was an Army Veteran of WWII, and he was a miller for these three companies - Curtiss Wright in Wood-Ridge, Bendix in Teterboro, and Pot Devin in South Hackensack. He is predeceased by his wife Pauline in 2006, a granddaughter Brittany Brouillard, a brother Michael Navilio, and a sister Mary Capabianca. He is survived by six daughters Lois D’Ambrosia, Denise Polizzano, Sally Navilio, Eloise Brouillard, Sabina Navilio, and Jacqueline Doyle, a brother Anthony Navilio, a sister Mildred Loiacono, four grandchildren, and his longtime companion Rose Sena. The funeral is Thursday, February 25, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home, 180 Harrison Ave., Garfield (973-340-7077) at 9:30 am followed by a 11 am mass at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church, Garfield. Interment St. Nicholas Cemetery, Lodi. In lieu of flowers the family is accepting donations for the Hunterdon Development Center. Condolences/Directions visit aloiafuneral.com
