DeBENEDETTO, Carmella (nee Giancola), age 98, of Clifton, died on October 27, 2019. Born in Haskell, Carmella lived in Pompton Lakes 10 years and Paterson for 34 years settling in Clifton 54 years ago. She was a parishioner of St. Brendan’s RC Church, Clifton, and was a secretary 10 years for Cedar Lawn Cemetery, Paterson retiring in 1979. Carmella is predeceased by her husband, John in 1998, and her sister, Virginia Feitlowitz. She is survived by her devoted son, Michael DeBenedetto and grandson, John DeBenedetto. Visiting Wednesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral is Thursday, October 31, 2019, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 10:00 am followed by an 11:00 am service at the Aloia Funeral Home, Garfield.
