Just heard of Peter’s death hours ago from his niece Erica. He was my neighbor who I always enjoyed seeing. We spoke about the stock market & animals. Peter had a contagious smile and laugh. Didn’t see him often, esp lately, but was always on the lookout for him. Some people you try to avoid but never Peter, my deceased husband Greg felt the same. He was a kind soul and wherever he is hope he’s resting in peace, knowing how much he was liked and respected by his neighbors. I know how much Erica adored him and to you neighbor you have my sympathy, along with all the family & friends. Michelle Douvry

I am so sorry to hear that Pete has passed away. I worked with him for over 10 years, while he was our IT person at Cohn Lifland Pearlman Herrmann and Knopf. I will just say that he was a really nice guy... hard-working, pleasant, fun, cheerful and caring. He will be missed by his family and friends. Carolyn Centurione

Peetee! My dear and wacky friend whom I will miss till I see you again in heaven
Then you can again do that “spastic walk” for me. It always made me laugh.
Love ya peetee you were definitely one of a kind. One of a irreplaceable kind.
You will always remain a part of our little gang. ❣️✨

Erika & Family:

I just can't express how shocked and sad I was to hear about Pete. I worked with him for 17 years, very closely at Melli's. We were always the two on hand when we moved to the new building, through, fires, floods, alarms - no electricity, no heat - you name it. We also would have frequent driving adventures into NYC to our little office - there was not a time I can remember without Pete. He was simply the nicest, kindest, funniest man with a HUGE heart. He was always there to help and if he couldn't help - he was there to make me laugh. He was a dear friend - someone never to be forgotten. He would call me Lil Sis - love you Petey- you will be missed!
