MARCH, Elizabeth Ann “Bette” (nee Thompson), age 72, of Little Egg Harbor, passed away on February 14, 2020 after a brief illness with her husband and family by her side. Born on April 15, 1947 in Camden to John and Elizabeth Thompson, she was raised in Palmyra with her younger brother, John Thompson. She was married for 54 years to John R. March and raised three children, Theresa DeRosa (Vincent), Raymond March (Deanna), and Samuel March (Lisa). She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Kasey (Shane), John Travis, Vincent, Alyssa, Brielle, Melissa and Samuel, Jr., aunts, uncles, many nieces and nephews, cousins and dear friends. Bette is predeceased by her parents, brother, and a granddaughter. She was known for her exceptional cooking and enjoyed sewing, camping, reading and time with her family. She organized and looked forward to “cookie weekend” with her grandchildren every December. She will forever be missed.
