MENDEZ, Marco Antonio, age 87, of Clifton, died on February 28, 2020. He was born and resided in Guatemala emigrating to the United States in 1979. He then lived in Paterson for 37 years settling in Clifton 4 years ago. Marco was a shoe maker over 22 years with Ballet Makers Inc. in Fair Lawn retiring in 2001. Marco is survived by wife of 53 years, Gloria R. Mendez, three daughters, Norma J. Vitale and husband Rugiero Vitale, Brenda L. Mendez and husband Steven Robertson, and Glenda E. Mendez and partner Danny Lofaro, three grandchildren, Anthony F. Vitale, Rebecca M. Vitale, and Alexander Robertson, three paw grandchildren, Bodo, Mishka and Damien, and 11 children from his first marriage with grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Private cremation.
