MACEDO, Antonio (Tony Sr.), age 58, of Toms River, NJ, died peacefully in the arms of his family, on March 15, 2020, after his long courageous battle with cancer. He will be truly missed by his loving family but will never be forgotten. Tony, rest in peace and may God bless you with His love. Tony was born and lived in Valenca do Minho, Portugal for 12 years, before emigrating to the United States. He resided in Garfield, NJ for 20 years, Linden for 25 years, then moved to Toms River 1 year ago.He owned and operated Poison Ivy Landscaping for many years. He is survived by his loving wife, Sheila (nee Goncalves) Macedo, father of two sons, Tony Macedo Jr. and Joseph Macedo, and two daughters, Anna Maria Macedo and Grace Ann Macedo. Beloved son of Armando and Grace Macedo, dear brother of Maria Macedo and Carlos Macedo ( wife Toni Ann ) and niece Rachelle Stoia. All services will be held Wednesday, March 18th, at St. Mary’s Cemetery,1 Outwater Lane, Saddle Brook, at 11am.
