MICHELLI, Douglas F., age 63, of Lake Hopatcong, died on May 5 2020. Born in Paterson on August 13, 1956, Doug originally lived in Clifton and West Paterson before settling in Lake Hopatcong. He was a electrician and loved boating, fishing, summers in Vermont with the family, bowling and "March Madness". He enjoyed nothing better than a good party with friends and family. He is predeceased by his parents, Joseph & Mary Michelli, and his eldest sister, Denise Wagner. He was the beloved brother, of Joseph Michelli, Jr., his sister, Jacqueline Colao and a brother-in-law, Thomas Colao. He was also loved dearly by his niece and goddaughter, Jackie Wagner and her husband Nick Mistretta, and his great nephew, Evan Mistretta. He is survived by many loving cousins. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in his name to the American Cancer Society or the charity of your choice. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
