CATALANO, Loreta (nee Miceli), age 90, of Garfield, died on May 11, 2020. Born in Lercara Friddi, Sicily-Italy, she lived there for 41 years settling in Garfield 49 years ago. Loreta was a homemaker, and a parishioner of Mt. Virgin Church in Garfield where she was a member of the Sacred Heart Society. Loreta is predeceased by her husband of 42 years, Giuseppe in 1996, and her son, Salvatore in 2011. She is survived by her devoted son, Giacomo and his wife Antonella, two loving grandchildren, Giulia and Marissa, and a sister, Ana Cartuccio. All services were privately held by the Aloia Funeral Home, 180 Harrison Avenue, Garfield (973-340-7077) with her entombment at St. Nicholas Cemetery, Lodi.
