GEER, Dennis James, age 63, passed away May 21, 2020 at his home in Hackensack, NJ. Dennis was born in Passaic, NJ residing most of his life in Garfield. Dennis was a loving uncle and devoted brother who always stood by his siblings side. He was always part of every family event, and loved listening to his oldies music especially Elvis. He worked as a school bus driver for disabled children most of his life. He loved working with those children and making them smile everyday. He is very much loved by his family and friends. Dennis will be missed by his contagious smile and loving heart. He is predeceased by his father, Raymond Walter Geer, his mother, Jean Emily Kucharski, and his sister Edna Mae Auffinger in April 2020. Dennis is survived by his sister, Mary Geer, his brother, Walter Geer, and two nieces, Lisa Geer and Jennifer Yenikomshuyan and husband Levon Yenikomshuyan. A memorial service will be planned at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association.
