This is unbelievable and one of the saddest days.
You were truly a graceful soul with a genuine heart for people...
I'll miss you...

I am Keisha Brown, a.k.a Keisha Allen, a cousin ( previously in-law) to Troy. Yet although the bonds of marriage are broken that brought us together, the impact Troy had on my life and time with him during my childhood has always left me feeling we are cousins for life. We had fun moments being kids, playing card/board games, hide-and-seek, telling scary stories, and watching vhs movies (I am that old, we watched movies on video tapes back in the 80’s and 90’s). We hit our pubescent years and had our share of awkwardness. Time passed after teenage years, and we last saw each other at a family gathering as adults, and it was “hi cous”, like time passing was just the skipping of a beat. I know he’s gone too soon, yet I hope he has peace and finds harmony in an everlasting heaven.

You were an amazing friend to me for so many years. I remember taking you to your first hockey game! Lol we were so squished at MSG! Meeting you and your mama were very wonderful memories. Ray and I were just talking about that Chinese resturant you took us to in Brooklyn the other day. Best chinese ever. You will be greatly missed my friend!

Troy was a great friend. Anytime I needed a non-judgemental ear, a shoulder, a ride, sage wisdom, anything, he was there to help. I got through some very dark moments knowing his kindness was only a phone call or text message away. Rest In Peace, my friend, 😪❤️
