HUDAK, Frederick Michael “Sonny”, age 44, of Garfield, died on June 24, 2020. Born in Passaic, he was raised in Saddle Brook 30 years moving to Garfield 14 years ago. He was a chef all of his life at many local Italian restaurants, loved camping with his sons, and being around his family and friends. He was a kind soul with a big heart who will be greatly missed. Sonny is survived by three children, Sage Hudak, Sonny Hudak and Sasha Jaconetta with their mother, Denise Jaconetta, six siblings, Stephen Hudak and wife Mary, Timothy Hudak, Jamie Hudak and wife Christina, Suzanne Hudak and husband Reza Salem, and Douglas Ehlers and wife Lorrie, Michael Ehlers, and he was an uncle to many. He is predeceased by parents, Stephen Hudak, Jr. and Marion Hudak-Ehlers and her husband William Ehlers. Memorial Visiting will be 1 to 2 pm on Sunday, July 5, 2020 with a 2 pm chapel service.
