Donald Charles Talias, lovingly known as Dewey, passed away on September 3, 2020 at the age of 74. Never without a smile and quick with a joke, Donald had a special way of making everyone laugh. He had a great love for cars and the outdoors. Donald was a member of Operating Engineers Local 825 until his retirement at the age of 64. He was dedicated to his family and many friends. Donald is survived by his adored daughters: Sara, Maddy, Zoey and son-in-law Trevor, his cherished granddaughter Angelina, and his loving former wife, Debra. Donald is also survived by his siblings: Karyn, Charles, Cathy, Maryellen, and Paul. He was predeceased by his parents: Charles and Catherine and brother, Tom. A Memorial Mass will be held 10 am on September 12, 2020 at St. Elizabeth of Hungary RC Church, 700 Wyckoff Avenue, Wyckoff, NJ. His Memorial Mass will be live streamed on https://saintelizabeths.org/ In lieu of flowers: memorial contributions in Donald's name may be made to St. Elizabeth's Church.
