PRONTIKER, Lucille M. (nee Manfredo), age 92, of Garfield, died on September 21, 2020. Born and raised in NY, NY for 20 years, she resided in Ridgefield Park 20 years settling in Garfield 52 years ago. She was an administrative assistant 30 years retiring from Agfa, South Hackensack in 2000, she was a parishioner of Most Holy Name RC Church, Garfield where she was a Lector, a member of the Rosary Society and the Holy Name Seniors, and she was a member of the Garfield Women’s Club, the Garfield AARP and the Golden Agers. She is predeceased by her husband, Joseph Prontiker in 1985 and a brother, Joseph Manfredo. She is survived by two loving sons, Roger and wife Diane and Clifford and wife MaryAnn, four adored grandchildren, Tara (Bill), Roger, Jr. (Adria), Dana (Keith), and Clifford, Jr., and six cherished great-grandchildren, Melanie, Billy, Keith, Jr., Kaitlyn, Jesse, and Mackenzie. Visiting is Thursday 4 to 8 pm. The funeral is Friday, September 25, 2020, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 8 am followed by a 9 am mass at Most Holy Name RC Church, Garfield. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Saddle Brook. The Prontiker family is in the care of the Aloia Funeral Home, 180 Harrison Ave., Garfield (973-340-7077). Condolences/Directions visit aloiafuneral.com

My condolences to the family. My mother Frances Kinney was good friends with Lucille for over 20 years. I got to know Lucille too . She was a very caring and compassionate person and I will miss her very much. She is with The Lord God in heaven now

Lucille was a very sweet lady..Shared many memories with her from fire department years thru her rein as President of the Woman's Club of Garfield as well as Food Pantry & Sr Center.. May she Rest in Peace

I first met Lucille when I moved into the building. She was part of the Golden Girls, three women, who did almost everything together. Lucille was a wonderful woman, bringing communion and visiting the sick. She had a great sense of humor and was wonderful to be around. Even at her age, she was an asset and you always thought she was as younger than her years. May she rest in peace in God's loving arms. We will all miss her.
