PANUNZIO, Lorenzo, age 87, of Garfield, died on September 26, 2020. Born and raised in Molfetta, Italy, he lived there 42 years emigrating to United States in 1975. He then lived in Lodi 25 years settling in Garfield 20 years ago. He worked with Buitoni Pasta, South Hackensack as a packager and then 13 years in housekeeping at Holy Name Medical Center, Teaneck retiring in 1995. Lorenzo was also a parishioner of Mt. Virgin Church, Garfield. He is predeceased by his wife of 62 years, Nicoletta (Visentini) in 2020, and a brother, Mauro. He is survived by two loving children, Antonia Valente and husband Antonio and Dominick Panunzio and fiance Gail Carlos, and four cherished grandchildren, Sergio, Lorenzo, Alyssa, and Gabriella. Visiting Tuesday 4 to 8 pm. The funeral is Wednesday, September 30, 2020, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 10 am followed by a 11 am mass at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church, Garfield.
