SCOTTO, Joseph R., age 66, of Wallington, passed away Sunday, October 11, 2020, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Wallington to the late Joseph and Angelina Scotto, Joe settled in Clifton before moving back to Wallington in recent years. Joe was a skillful, self-taught carpenter who took great pride in his work. When he wasn’t building beautiful homes he spent his time on the ball field coaching his kids, he was an avid NY Yankee and NY Giants fan. Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Angelina, Joe is survived by his wife of 36 years, Susan Scotto (née Salemi), three cherished children, Kristofer and his wife Danielle, Joseph and his wife Amanda, and Jaclyn Scotto; and a brother Robert Scotto and wife Alice. Joe also leaves behind two adored grandchildren, Angelina and Anthony Scotto. All services were privately held by the Aloia Funeral Home, 180 Harrison Ave., Garfield (973-340-7077).
