Obituary for Frieda Parisi (Silvestri)
PARISI, Frieda (nee Silvestri), age 96, of Garfield, died surrounded by her loving family on December 27, 2020.
Frieda worked 25 years as a sales representative for Sears and Roebuck in Maywood before retiring and was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Virgin RC Church, Garfield. She is predeceased by her devoted husband of 61 years, James Patrick in 2019, her beloved son, Angelo in 1994, and a brother, Sam Silvestri. Frieda is survived by her cherished son, James Louis Parisi, two dear sisters, Jean Meisch and husband Louis, and Elizabeth Macolino, and many adored nieces and nephews. The Funeral Mass is 10:30 am on Thursday, December 31, 2020, at Our Lady of Mt. Virgin RC Church, Garfield. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. In lieu of flowers the family is accepting donations to the Clifton Recreation Department, Clifton.
