Obituary for Rosa Ribaudo (Lombardo)

RIBAUDO, Rosa (nee Lombardo), age 77, of Garfield, died on January 2, 2020. Born in Lercara Friddi, Sicily-Italy, she lived there for 21 years and Elmwood Park before settling in Garfield 30 years ago. Rosa was a seamstress 30 years with Frank Saltz and Sons in Passaic retiring in 2003, and a member of the I.L.G.W.U. - Passaic Local She was a parishioner of Mt. Virgin Church where she was a member of the Sacred Heart Society. She was also a devoted member of the St. Anthony Society and St. Ciro Society of Garfield, the Immaculate Conception Society at St. Joseph’s Church, Lodi, and the Santo Pio Society of Garfield. She is predeceased by her husband, Rosario, and a brother, Calogero Lombardo. She is survived by three siblings, Ciro Lombardo and wife Maria, Antonino Lombardo and wife Rosa, and Franca Schillaci, and many nieces and nephews. Visiting Tuesday 5 to 7 pm. The funeral is Wednesday, January 6, 2021, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 10 am followed by a 11 am mass at Our Lady of Mt. Virgin RC Church, Garfield. Entombment St. Nicholas Cemetery, Lodi.
