Obituary for Anthony Peter Cannici

CANNICI, Anthony P., age 90, of Lodi, died on January 9, 2021. Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
before settling in Lodi, New Jersey. Anthony was employed by Clifton Grand Union as a store manager before his retirement. He was a parishioner and usher at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church, Garfield and a founding member of the Garfield 20th Century Club. He is survived by his wife of 67 years Rosalie ( Calderone ), three sons, Russell (wife Lucille), Raymond (wife Cheryl) and Ron (wife Dawn), his brother Joseph, 6 grandchildren, Jacki, Jen, Ryan, Ronny, Nicole, and Dana and 3 great grandchildren Jaxon, Maximus, and Stone. Predeceased by brother Russell and sister Marie. Visiting will be Tuesday, January 12, 2021 from 4 to 8pm. The funeral is Wednesday, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 8 am followed by a 9 am mass at Our Lady of Mt. Virgin RC Church, Garfield. Burial St. Mary’s Cemetery, Saddle Brook. In lieu of flowers the family will accept donations for Hackensack Meridian Department of Pain and Palliative Care.
