NORDT, Steven Wade, age 65, of Garfield, died on January 11, 2021. Born in Union City, he lived there 33 years settling in Garfield 32 years ago. He was a supervisor with Epply in Hawthorne 10 years, a member of the Cornerstone Church in Carlstadt serving as an usher, and achieved the status as A three time 300 bowler bowlin for the local leagues especially the Lodi Lanes Bowling Leagues. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Sandra (nee Hoodiman), three beloved children, Steven Nordt, Jr. and wife Jilleen, Jessica Schultheis and husband Daniel and Meagan Nordt, six cherished grandchildren, Dietrich, Hansel, Elizabelle, Ginevieve, Sven, and Alaric, and four dear siblings, Allen Nordt and wife Pattie, David Nordt and wife Maggie, Frank Nordt and wife Joan, and Sheron Nordt. He is predeceased by his siblings, Roxanne and Dennis Nordt. Visiting Thursday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm with a 7:30 pm chapel service. Private cremation.
