ZAPPITELLI, Angelo D., age 80, a lifelong resident of Paterson, passed away peacefully on June 22, 2021. He was a 1959 graduate of Eastside High School in Paterson, New Jersey. Angelo was a foreman for J. Josephson Corporation in South Hackensack, NJ before retiring and previously, he worked as a foreman for Kirker Chemical in Paterson. Angelo was also a member of the Textile Dye Workers Union - Paterson Local. He is predeceased by his wife of 46 years, Louise (nee Kerr), his parents, John and Matilda Basilio-Zappitelli. He is survived by children, Leslie Kerr-Veltri and husband Otto, Brian Kerr, and Michael Kerr, five grandchildren, Sean Pena-Veltri, Sheyla Pena-Veltri, Derek A. Nazario, Lesley Nazario-Szeto and Burton Nazario-Szeto, and four great-grandchildren, Tyler, Kaison, Abel, and Lola.
