HOFHERR, Michele (nee Pirone), age 62, of Elmwood Park, died on July 7, 2021. Born and raised in Newark for 5 years, she lived in Bloomfield 37 years settling in Elmwood Park 20 years ago. Michele was a legal secretary many years at Weitzman in Roseland before retiring and was a parishioner of St. Anne RC Church, Fair Lawn. She is predeceased by her sister, Terri Pirone. She is survived by her devoted and loving husband of 20 years, Ira Hofherr, two stepchildren, Naomi Hofherr, and Matthew Hofherr with wife Jodi, two grandchildren, Matteo Hofherr and Victoria Kahalani, and a brother, Richard Pirone (Olga). Memorial Visiting will be Friday 6 to 8 pm at the Aloia Funeral Home, Garfield. In lieu of flowers please make donations to offset funeral costs.
