HAMLIN, James, Jr., age 74, of Elmwood Park, died on August 3, 2021. Born and resided in the Bronx for 49 years, he lived in Garfield 15 years settling in Elmwood Park 10 years ago. James was Vice President for A & E Stores in Teterboro working with the company 40 years retiring in 2019 and served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era. He was a parishioner of St. Leo’s RC Church in Elmwood Park, and a coach and safety officer four years with the Garfield Little League. James is predeceased by his sister, Loretta. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Nadine (nee Zomaletho), seven beloved children, James, Guy, Mindy, Aicha, Brian, Kate, and Kevin Hamlin. James will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, coach and friend. His memory will forever live on in our hearts. Memorial Visiting Saturday 5 to 7 pm with a 6:30 pm chapel service.
