ASTORINA, Michael Vittorio, of Lodi, age 82, died on October 6, 2021. Born and raised in Caltanisetta, Italy for 16 years, Michael emigrated to the United States settling in Lodi 66 years ago. He was a barber 30 years owning and operating Mike’s Hairstyling in Lodi retiring in 2012 and previously, he was a presser in the garment industry for 25 years, and a supervisor for Park 80 West in Saddle Brook 20 years. Michael had many talents, but was most passionate about being a professional vocalist for 33 years with Mike and the Azzurri in Lodi. He was a parishioner of St. Joseph’s RC Church, Lodi, a member of the St. Joseph Society, and a member of the I.L.G.W.U. - Passaic Local. He is predeceased by his siblings, Anthony, Paolina, and Rosa Astorina. Michael is survived by his devoted wife of 43 years, Antoinette (nee Greco), four loving children, Nicolina Greco, Maria Teresa Astorina, Laura Astorina, and Joseph Astorina and wife Antonietta, three adored grandchildren, Matteo, Michael, and Sofia, and two sisters, Salvatrice and Josephine Astorina. Visiting Friday 4 to 8 pm. The funeral is Saturday, October 9, 2021, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 8:30 am followed by a 9:30 am mass at St. Joseph’s RC Church, Lodi.
