RIENZI, Jeffrey, age 63, of Raleigh, NC, died suddenly on August 24, 2021. Born in Passaic, he was raised in Garfield 20 years before enlisting in the US Marine Corps. He served four years from 1978 to 1982 and was a propeller mechanic and a crew member on C130 Aircraft with VMGR252 in Cherry Point, NC. He then moved to Raleigh, NC where he worked as a charter jet pilot for a retired US Senator and private companies, most recently Fly Exclusive Corporation in Kinston, NC. Jeff was an avid motorcyclist and car enthusiast. He is survived by his mother, Josephine (nee Zarcone), his siblings, Gerard Rienzi and wife Barbara and Geralynn Gardner and husband Jack, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He is predeceased by his father, Gerard Rienzi in 2020, and his loyal dog, Tucker. Memorial Visiting Saturday, October 23, 2021 from 12 to 2 pm with a 1:45 pm chapel service.
