RUGAR, Michael, age 64, of Garfield, died on November 23, 2021. Born in Jersey City, he was raised in North Bergen 49 years settling in Garfield 15 years ago. Michael was a trainer with the USPS in Newark 30 years, and a parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Virgin RC Church, Garfield. He is predeceased by his wife of 30 years, Amy DeFazio-Rugar on October 13, 2021, and a brother, Edward. He is survived by his loving daughter, Alexis Rugar and boyfriend John Scanlan, and a brother, Lawrence and wife Carolyn. Visiting Friday 2 to 6 pm. The funeral is Saturday, November 26, 2021, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 8 am followed by a 9 am chapel service. Private cremation to follow.
