Obituary for Carlo Passador

PASSADOR, Carlo, age 85, of Lodi, died on March 3, 2022. Born and raised in Verres, Aosta, Italy for 18 years, he emigrated to the United States living in Garfield for 9 years before settling in Lodi 58 years ago. Carlo served three years in the US Army, he was a brick mason and a 50 year member of the Bricklayers and Allied Craftsmen Union - Local 4 in Fairfield retiring in 2000. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Virgin RC Church, Garfield, a member of the Italian American Coop, Clifton, an avid NY Giants and Juventus Soccer (Italy) fan, and he enjoyed watching Western Movies featuring John Wayne. Carlo is predeceased by his wife, Gloria in 1999 and a son-in-law, Peter Galinis in 2017. He is survived by two devoted daughters, Joann Galinis and Maryann Correll, and three beloved grandchildren, Meghan, Ryan, and Lindsay Correll. Visiting Sunday 2 to 6 pm. The funeral is Monday, March 7, 2022, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 10:30 am followed by a 11:30 am mass at Our Lady of Mt. Virgin RC Church, Garfield. Interment St. Nicholas Cemetery, Lodi. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Carlo’s name to Our Lady of Mount Virgin RC Church, Garfield.
