LoPINTO, Giuseppa (nee Vilardi), age 92, of Elmwood Park, died on April 28, 2022. Born and raised in Marineo, Sicily-Italy, she lived there for 40 years and Garfield for 6 years settling in Elmwood Park 46 years ago. Giuseppa was a lifelong seamstress working at many local dress shops including Natoli’s in Elmwood Park, SuperCraft Garment and Merritt Garment, both in Garfield, retiring in 1985. She was a parishioner of Mt. Virgin Church in Garfield, Past President and a member of the St. Ciro Society of Garfield, and a member of the Immaculate Conception Society at St. Joseph’s Church in Lodi, and the I.L.G.W.U. - Passaic Local. She is predeceased by her loving husband of 60 years, Salvatore in 2020, her parents, Giuseppe and Maria Grazia Vilardi, and her sister, Concetta Sclafani. She is survived by her devoted daughter, Dora D'Amico and husband Frank, three cherished grandchildren, Francesca LoCascio and husband Michael, Josephine D’Amico and Maria D’Amico, two adored great-grandchildren, Santino and Valentina LoCascio, and a sister, Meri Spataro. Visiting Sunday 3 to 6 pm. The funeral is Monday, May 2, 2022, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 10 am followed by a 11 am mass at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church, Garfield. Entombment St. Nicholas Cemetery, Lodi. In lieu of flowers the family is accepting donations for the St. Ciro Society Scholarship Fund, 54 Gaston Avenue, Garfield, NJ 07026 and Mt.
