Obituary for Dennis J. Steinmetz, Sr.
STEINMETZ, Dennis J., age 68, passed away peacefully on May 25, 2022 at the Cambridge Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Moorestown, New Jersey.
Dennis was born on April 12, 1954 at the Mount Holly Hospital and was raised in Browns Mills, New Jersey by the late Francis and Grace Steinmetz. He is survived by daughter, Shannon, sons, Kevin, Keith, and Dennis, Jr., nine grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and seven siblings. Dennis was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents, and six siblings.
In 1989, Dennis moved his family to Lincoln, Nebraska. In 1995, Dennis moved back to New Jersey. His four children continue to reside in Lincoln, Nebraska today.
His lifelong career work included heavy equipment operation and plumbing. Dennis was a long time member of the Lion's Club. He enjoyed bowling and pool leagues, camping, watching NASCAR races (especially Jeff Gordon), gambling at the Casinos, and playing bingo.
He will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends.
At this time, there is no memorial service planned. In lieu of flowers, cards may be sent to the Aloia Funeral Home.
