FEDE, George Emanuel, Jr., age 66, a lifelong resident of Garfield, died on June 18, 2022. George graduated Garfield High School and the HVAC program at Lincoln Technical Institute starting his career owning and operating Jill Tara Painting in Garfield for 20 years. He then worked for Elgen Manufacturing in Closter for 15 years as their shop foreman until 2011. George was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Virgin RC Church, Garfield, where he was a very active member of the Knights of Columbus, the Holy Name Society, the Usher Society and Feast Committee, and he was a coach for the Garfield Recreational Department Girls Basketball Program. George is predeceased by his father, George E. Fede, Sr. in 2012. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 41 years, Janet (nee Kaminski), three beloved daughters, Jill Fede-Nunez and husband Joel, and Tara and Emily Fede, his cherished mother, Catherine Fede, two adored grandchildren, Juliana and Joel Nunez, and dear siblings, Kathleen Mosdar and husband Vincent and Douglas Fede and wife Marysol. Visiting Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral is Friday, June 24, 2022, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 10 am followed by a 11 am mass at Our Lady of Mt. Virgin RC Church, Garfield.
