RUSSO, Joe, age 94, of Lodi, NJ, passed away peacefully in his home on Wednesday, June 22, 2022. Joe was born in Garfield, the son of Frank and Anna (Arabella) Russo. He graduated Garfield High School and resided in Garfield until marrying his loving wife of 65 years, Anita Russo (Pacella). He and Anita resided in Lodi the remainder of their lives and had two daughters, Donna and Sandra. Joe was a devoted loving husband and father, who was always patient, soft spoken and gentle and respected by everyone who knew him. He graduated from Rutgers University becoming a CPA and was employed by Witco Chemical Corporation for over 30 years, retiring as its Corporate Secretary. Joe was an Army Veteran of World War II having served in the army of occupation in Japan. He was an avid Yankee fan and enjoyed traveling with his wife and family. He is predeceased in death by his wife, Anita and his brothers, Charles Russo and John Russo and his sisters, Jennie Loffredo, Mary Niblo and Josephine Russo. Visitation is Wednesday, June 29, 2022 from 3 to 7 pm. Please wear a mask while visiting the funeral home. The funeral is Thursday, June 30, 2022, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 9:30 am followed by a 10:30 am mass at St. Joseph’s RC Church, Lodi. Interment St. Nicholas Cemetery, Lodi.
