ORBEGOZO, Carlos Armando, age 87, of Fair Lawn, died on July 20, 2022. Born and raised in Bogota, Colombia for 52 years, he moved to North Bergen for 17 years settling in Fair Lawn 18 years ago. Carlos was a chemical engineer 28 years with Proficol in Bogota, Colombia retiring in 1990. He is survived by five children, Claudia Pinuel and husband Alberto, Mauricio Orbegozo and wife Lida, Marcela Alfonso and husband Victor, Adriana Meherji and husband Cyrus, and Oscar Orbegozo and wife Ximena, four siblings, Carlos Enrique Orbegozo, Roberto Orbegozo, Amelia Orbegozo and Aura Lizcano, his former wife, Hermelinda, 14 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. The funeral is Saturday, July 23, 2022, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 9 am followed by a 11am mass at Most Holy Name RC Church, Garfield. Private cremation to follow.
