REALMONTE, Pete, age 87, of Garfield, died on November 12, 2022. Born in Marineo, Sicily-Italy, he lived there for 17 years emigrating to Lodi eventually settling in Fair Lawn for 43 years ago. Pete was the co-owner of Venice Bakery in Garfield, owned Luv’n Lounge and Realmonte’s in Paterson, and was a property owner many years before retiring. He was a parishioner of both St. Joseph RC Church in Lodi and St. Anne RC Church in Fair Lawn, and he was a member of the St. Ciro Society, Garfield, the St. Joseph Society, Lodi, and the St. Pio Prayer Group, Hackensack. He is predeceased by his wife of 49 years, Vincenza in 2011, and his parents, Salvatore and Rosalia. He is survived by four children, Rosemary Realmonte, Deborah McParland and husband John, Sabrina Carriero and husband Anthony, and Peter A. Realmonte, 7 grandchildren, and three siblings, Ciro Realmonte and wife Nina, Sadie Plati and husband Fred, and Lena Kuntz and husband Mel. Visiting Sunday 2 to 6 pm. The funeral is Monday, November 21, 2022, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 8 am followed by a 9 am mass at St. Joseph’s RC Church, Lodi. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Saddle Brook.
