LETO, Rosario, age 77, of Garfield, died on November 22, 2022. Born and raised in Bolognetta, Sicily-Italy, he emigrated in 1973 to the United States settling in Garfield 49 years ago. Rosario was a lifelong mason owning and operating Leto & Sons in Garfield for 50 years retiring in 2017, he was a parishioner of Mt. Virgin Church, Garfield, Vice President of the St. Anthony Society, Garfield, and an avid bocce ball player at 20th Century Field, Garfield. He is survived by his devoted wife of 52 years, Maria (nee Gippetto), three loving children, Vincenzo (Vinnie) and wife Nancy, Frank and fiancé Jeanna Belluscio, and Cira Leto, four cherished grandchildren, Angela, Vinnie, Jr., Jessie and Anthony and five dear siblings, Domenico, Antonino. Carmelo, Damiano Leto and Santa Scimeca. He is predeceased by his parents, Vincenzo and Cira (nee DiFresco), and siblings, Giuseppe, Maria Ruisi and Carmelina Leto. Visiting Sunday 2 to 6 pm. The funeral is Monday, November 28, 2022, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 10 am followed by a 11 am chapel service. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Saddle Brook.
