VITA, Pauline (nee DeBello), age 92, a lifelong resident of Garfield, died on March 10, 2023. She was a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, a friend to all and a parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Virgin RC Church, Garfield where she was a member of the Rosary Society. She is predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Louis P. in 2004, and seven siblings, Connie Repetti, Rose Piernowski, Michael, John, Charles, Joseph, Jr. and Rocco DeBello, her sister-in-law, Martha DeBello, and her parents, Joseph and Mildred DeBello. Pauline is survived by two devoted and loving children, Dr. Louis R. Vita and wife Cathy, and Anna Marie Guzek and husband Stanley, and two adored grandchildren, Louis J. and wife Danielle, and Allyson. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews of the DeBello and Vita Families, especially Michele and Don Ingrasselino and Paulette Vita, her in-laws, Mildred Taormina and family, and her care givers, Zoraida, Maria J., Maria and Mary Jean. Visiting Monday 5 to 8 pm. The funeral is Tuesday, March 14, 2023, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 10 am followed by a 11 am mass at Our Lady of Mt. Virgin RC Church, Garfield. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Saddle Brook. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Mt. Virgin Church, Garfield.
