FITZPATRICK, Susan “Susie Q”, age 64, of Moonachie, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on May 28, 2016 at Hackensack University Medical Center after a courageous battle with cancer. Born to Charles and Marion Fitzpatrick on December 3, 1951, she resided in Dumont for many years before moving to Moonachie. She graduated Dumont High School in 1970, and worked at Kmart in Closter before retiring. She is predeceased by her parents. She is survived by her loving, dedicated companion of 40 years, Allen Ferguson, her siblings, Charles and wife Dee of Dumont, Mary Bickerton and husband Tom of Toms River, and Kathy Wunder and husband Ernie of Stillwater, 14 loving nieces and nephews who will always remember the “Christmas Stockings” on the stairs, three great-nieces, and one great-nephew. The memorial service will be private. Donations can be made to HUMC Hospice or the John Theurer Cancer Center.
