SORBELLO, Anthony, age 63, of East Stroudsburg, PA, died on August 27, 2016. He was born in Passaic, NJ, residing in Clifton, NJ for 52 years before moving to East Stroudsburg, PA in 2006. He was a parishioner of St. Brendan RC Church, Clifton, and Our Lady of Mt. Virgin Church, Garfield. Mr. Sorbello worked in management for a number of banking firms during his professional career. He was a past member of the Clifton Jaycees, former Eucharistic Minister and former School Board Member at St. Brendan RC Church, and the most caring, loving, beloved husband, father, uncle and friend to many. His laugh was contagious and his smile would light up the room. All were welcomed into his home as he was a father image and mentor to all of his daughters’ friends and families. He is predeceased by his daughter Victoria Lynn, his parents Ozzie and Lucy Sorbello, in-laws Nancy Buono-Alia and Anthony Alia along with many aunts and uncles. He leaves behind his wife of 42 years, Rosemary Sorbello ( nee Alia ), his daughter Gina Marie Gerardi, her husband Matthew and his beloved grandchildren, Dylan, Lucas, and a third grandchild due in late November. Also survived by his brother-in-law Dennis Alia, his wife Chris and their children Marisa and Monica. Visiting Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. The funeral is Wednesday, August 31, 2016, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 8:30am followed by a 9:30am mass at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church, Garfield.
