Carmelo Vincent Seragusa
SERAGUSA, Carmelo Vincent, age 87, of Clifton, died on December 1, 2016. Born in Garfield, he lived in Passaic settling in Clifton 40 years ago. He was a barber owning Mel’s Barber Shop on Jewell Street in Garfield for 36 years retiring in 2004, he was a parishioner of St. Anne’s RC Church in Fair Lawn, and a member of the Holy Name Society. He spent everyday at the Garfield Senior Center where he enjoyed playing his harmonica and pool with all of his friends. He is predeceased by his wife Blanche Wolak Seragusa in 2011, a son, Carmelo V., Jr., and two daughters, Denise and Patricia Seragusa. Loving father of Debbie and Gabrielle Seragusa, beloved grandfather of Ashley, Brian, and Danielle, a great-granddaughter Kylie, and his brother of Anthony of Florida. Visiting Monday 3-7 pm with a 6:30 pm chapel service with military honors. Private Cremation. In lieu of flowers the family is accepting memorial gifts.
