DANYS, Beatrice C. (nee Amoruso), age 74, a lifelong resident of Garfield, died on March 15, 2017. She was a parishioner of Mt. Virgin Church in Garfield and an equipment control manager for 15 years at Norton Lilly Import/Export in Secaucus retiring 1993. Previously, she was a bookkeeper 5 years at Hyundai in Hackensack. In addition, she was a benefactor of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, the American Cancer Society, and a AARP life member. Beatrice is survived by her loving children, Colleen Danys, John Danys and wife Bethzy, and Charles “Chuckie” Danys, life partner, Gary Frank Ferraro, cherished grandchildren, Cana, Jessica, Christian, Isabella Bea, Alexa, and Philip, and her dear sisters, Charlotte Amoruso and Carol Fricchione. Beloved aunt of Jay Fricchione and wife Daniela, Jody Malave and husband Nelson, and great aunt of Nelson, Sophia, Gianna, and A.J. She is predeceased by her parents, Charles and Nancy Amoruso. Visiting Monday 4 to 9 pm. The funeral is Tuesday, March 21, 2017, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 9 am followed by a 10 am mass at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church, Garfield.
