Obituary for Edward Vancho

Edward  Vancho
VANCHO, Edward, age 100, a lifelong resident of Garfield, died on June 20, 2017. He was a Police Sergeant for 30 years with the Garfield Police Department retiring in 1981, a member of the Garfield PBA Local 146, and a parishioner of St. John the Baptist RO Church in Passaic. He is survived by his daughter Lois A. Briggs and husband Robert. Edward is predeceased by his wife of 58 years, Mildred in 2009, and his siblings, Nicholas, Michael, Steve, and John Vancho, and Anna Belejack. Visiting Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm with the Parastas at 8 pm. The funeral is Saturday, June 24, 2017, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 9:15 am followed by a 10:15 am mass at St. John the Baptist RO Church, Passaic. Interment East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton. The Vancho family is in the care of the Aloia Funeral Home, 180 Harrison Ave., Garfield (973-340-7077). Condolences/Directions visit aloiafuneral.com
