Obituary for Catherine A. Carmen (Happel)
CARMEN, Catherine A. (nee Happel), age 66, of Lyndhurst, died on July 12, 2017 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born and raised in the Bronx living in Camden and around New Jersey most of her life, settling in Lyndhurst a year ago. She was homemaker. Loving wife of 29 years to Allen H. Carmen, Sr., beloved mother of Allen H. Carmen, Jr. and fiancé Heidy Prestol, cherished grandmother of Lilly and Aimee, dear sister of Alfred Happel and wife Lori, Raymond Happel and wife Holly, Eve Happel and husband Walter, Annie Happel, Stella Mc Kay, and Marie Happel, and special aunt to Jimmy Happel. The graveside service will be 11 am on Monday, July 17, 2017 at Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa. In lieu of flowers the family is accepting memorial gifts.
