My favorite Aunt

My fondest memory of Aunt Millie was when televisions came out and every Friday Uncle Joe and Aunt Mil used to come over and watch black and white tv They lived close to Aloia funeral home so when we had a death in the family we would pile over there and she made the best roast beef and cole slaw.  Of course someone would bring Italian pastries from one of our Italian pastrey shops

When I got married the second time I asked Uncle Joe to give me away.  When her house was sold I took her in and gave it my best shot to take of her  That lasted about a year but the dimentia was more powerful than I.  She went to a beautiful assisted living facility and ever year we went to she her  She never forgot  who I was and would tell everyone "this is my neice Barbara"

She was the most beautiful person inside and out. She was the last Nicastro sister.

I could go on with the memories but I will keep them safely tucked in my heart  I love you beautiful lady to the moon and back Your Heartbroken Neice, Barbara
