PUCCI, Maria L. “Gina” (nee Lagonigro), age 71, of Garfield, died on December 9, 2017. Born and raised in Poggiorsini, Bari-Italy, she lived there for 24 years emigrating to the United States in 1970. Gina then resided in Newark and Irvington moving to Lodi for 24 years and settling in Garfield 13 years ago. She was a supervisor 15 years for Atlanta Fashions in Irvington and then worked as a supervisor for Liz Claiborne in North Bergen retiring in 1988. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Virgin RC Church, Garfield, a member of the St. Ciro Society, Garfield, and a member of the I.L.G.W.U. - Newark Local. She is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Anthony, three brothers, Vincenzo Lagonigro and wife Filomena, Giuseppe Lagonigro, and Francesco Lagonigro and wife AnnaMaria, and a sister, Maria Siino. She is predeceased by her parents, Rafaele and Maria Lagonigro. Visiting Tuesday 4 to 8 pm. The funeral is Wednesday, December 13, 2017, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 10 am followed by a 11 am mass at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church, Garfield.
