Elvia L.  Quintana (Pupo)
QUINTANA, Elvia L. (nee Pupo) age 82 of Little Ferry died on February 22, 2009. She was born and resided in Cuba for 34 years, Hoboken for 20 years, and Little Ferry the past 28 years. Retiring in 1992, she worked 20 years for Stevens Institute of Technology, Hoboken in the Environmental Services Dept. She is predeceased by her husband Valdo in 2005, her son Ricardo in 1995, and her brother Orlando Pupo. She is survived by a daughter Lourdes Bosi and her husband Telmo, 3 grandchildren Michael, John, and Daniel, 2 brothers Onis and Tomas Pupo, and daughter-in-law Michele Fazio and her daughter Mia. The funeral is Wednesday, February 25, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home, 180 Harrison Ave., Garfield (973-340-7077) at 9:00 am followed by a 10:00 am mass at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church, Garfield. Entombment Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Visiting Tuesday 4 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Greater NJ Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.
