Obituary for Giuseppe Ingui

Giuseppe  Ingui
INGUI, Giuseppe, age 67, of Clifton, died on March 5, 2017. Born in Marineo, Sicily-Italy, he emigrated to the United States at the age of 19 living in Garfield, Lodi, and back to Garfield before moving to Clifton 8 years ago. He was the owner and operator of Venice Bakery in Garfield for 17 years and Giannella’s Bakery in Paterson for 10 years before becoming a custodian at the Passaic County Technical Institute for the past 8 years. He was a member of the NJEA. Beloved husband of Patricia A. Hopp Ingui (nee Jankowski), loving brother of Salvatore Ingui and wife Antonietta, Michael Ingui and wife Viola, and Maria Spinella and husband Ciro, dear step-father of Robert Hopp and wife Marieke, Christopher Hopp and wife Michelle, and Joseph Hopp, and cherished grandfather of Dylan, Nicholas, Annabelle, and Adelyn Hopp. He is also survived by five nephews, four nieces, many great-nieces and great-nephews, and his parents-in-law, Anthony and Lorraine Jankowski. He is predeceased by his parents, Ciro and Santina (D’Amico) Ingui, and his nephew, Ciro Ingui. Visiting Tuesday 5 to 9 pm. The funeral is Wednesday, March 8, 2017, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 10:15 am followed by a 11:15 am mass at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church, Garfield.
